The Climate Council plays a lead role gaining media coverage and campaigning for climate action in Australia.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change

The IPCC is the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change. The IPCC was created to provide policymakers with regular scientific assessments on climate change, its implications and potential future risks, as well as to put forward adaptation and mitigation options.

The IPCC provides lengthy, expert climate reports that shape climate policy internationally.

Climate Change Preformance Index

The CCPI is an independent monitoring tool of countries’ climate protection performance. It aims to enhance transparency in international climate politics and enables the comparability of climate protection efforts and progress made by individual countries.

The full report is produced annually and is an easy read with summaries for each country and great graphs and charts.

The CCPI is a valuable resource to Australians, illustrating how we compare to other nations - in 2020 Australia was ranked worst in climate policy

Climate Action Tracker

The Climate Action Tracker (CAT) is an independent scientific analysis that tracks government climate action against the Paris Agreement. Assessing 32 countries covering about 80% of global emissions, CAT tracks: the effect of current policies on emissions; impact of pledges, targets and NDCs; and fair share and comparability of effort.

The Climate Action Tracker has been a resource for policy makers since 2009.

Founded in 2014, Project Drawdown aims to help the world reach "Drawdown", the point where greenhouse gases in the atmosphere decline

Project Drawdown has identified the world's top 100 existing solutions which we can utilise to reverse global warming. All the information can be found in the book Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming, but much of the information can be found on the website.
