OPC is powered by our grassroots community and a small team of volunteers.

Volunteers make it possible for us to pursue our mission to protect the outdoors in the face of climate change and other major environmental issues by fostering bold action in the outdoor community.

Wherever you are and whatever your availability, there are volunteer opportunities at OPC to suit you. Our volunteers include full-time professionals, students, retirees, parents, small business owners, and full-time volunteers. Casual or part-time, committed or temporary, in-person or online - we'd love to have you.

We're looking for help in a range of areas including with communications, administration, events, actions and our advocacy work.

Our volunteer team is welcoming, inclusive, and safe. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life regardless of gender, age, ethnic origin, religion, nationality, marital/parental status, health status, disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity. If you're in, we're in!
